Rosa works as a PhD candidate in the Urban Ecology Design Lab at Delft University of Technology. In her research, Rosa focuses on the transformative design of Dutch (industrial) business districts. Her research, focussing on multifunctionality, contributes to the national ambition to transition these districts into healthy, nature-inclusive and multifunctional Workscapes of the Future.
She started in the Urban Ecology Design lab after graduating cum laude from the Urbanism Master track at Delft University of Technology with her research project titled Urban Arid Green. Regarding arid climates, she is on the validation panel of the Ecocity Morocco programme.
During her studies, she started up Wolveprent to work on unique design projects such as the Greening NEOM project.
Besides her work, she volunteers for Africa Wood Grow to contribute to reforestation in Kenya by empowering local communities.
