Symposia

A symposium is a focused academic event where experts share opinions on a chosen topic in a formal setup, often held at esteemed locations and centered around a single theme. It can be likened to a compact conference due to its smaller delegate count.

We aim to refine this model through ‘unconferencing’, an innovative approach that surpasses the usual structure of formal talks and predetermined subjects, replaced by a participant-driven dynamic. This method cultivates lively conversations, collaboration, and active engagement among attendees. Unconferences prioritize participant proficiency and inspire idea exchange, frequently yielding varied and inventive solutions.

The potential merits of unconferencing, including fortifying connections, fostering open discourse, and enriching the conference experience for both speakers and attendees, can be elevated further by nurturing concrete solutions as eventual outcomes.
