Kort daarna ontvingen we een uitnodiging van Claudia Schnugg, een externe partner van Quo Artis, een in Barcelona gevestigde stichting die kunst en wetenschap combineert. Deze uitnodiging leidde tot een Zoom-meeting waar ook Gabino aan deelnam. \n\n\n\nHij is een ervaren landschapsarchitect en projectmanager die zich sterk inzet voor het verbeteren van de stedelijke biodiversiteit door middel van op de natuur gebaseerde oplossingen. Met meer dan 16 jaar ervaring als interne adviseur van de gemeenteraad van Barcelona, heeft hij met succes maatregelen en technieken ge\u00efmplementeerd voor de renaturatie van de openbare ruimtes van de stad. Zijn expertise omvat landschapsarchitectuur en landschapsarchitectuur voor publieke, zakelijke en particuliere projecten, zowel nationaal als wereldwijd.\n\n\n\nHij is een gerespecteerd thought leader in zijn vakgebied, wordt regelmatig uitgenodigd om te spreken op verschillende fora en is de auteur van talloze publicaties, artikelen en essays. Hij is lid van de Raad van Bestuur van de Spaanse Vereniging van Openbare Parken en Tuinen, waar hij verantwoordelijk is voor communicatie en internationale betrekkingen. Hij is ook lid van de Raad van Bestuur van World Urban Parks. \n\n\n\nNaast zijn professionele activiteiten staat hij bekend om zijn creatieve samensmelting van kunst, wetenschap, design en milieu.
